Water Well for minority Muslims in rural regions

Ramadan is a time when we remember our loved ones who have passed away.  During this blessed month, I have made the intention to donate towards building a water well under mom’s name, Abida Javed as Sadaqah Jariyah.

Water is a blessing from Allah SWT that we often take for granted, and during Ramadan,  through His mercy we become more conscious of the difficulties faced by those without access to safe water. As dad taught me, giving water is filled with many blessings, and its rewards are multiplied even further during this blessed month. Our Prophet SAW recommended water as the best charity to give in someone’s name. Every time someone breaks their fast using this water, every time someone wears the clothes washed with that water, every time someone eats a vegetable grown from that water, inshAllah we can all be rewarded for that.
