Support a Watershed Mural in El Sobrante

Tax deductible
Triangle Works and El Sobrante artist Yulia Pinkusevich are teaming up to bring her public art vision to reality. Yulia's mural, "We Are All In This Together" is inspired by our local watershed and its inhabitants. The mural site is located on Appian Way in El Sobrante, adjacent to Appian Creek and just down the road from The Shed and the Sunday Farmers Market. Yulia will paint the mural in April-May, 2025 with the support of Triangle Works volunteers, and everyone is invited to the following community mural celebration event with refreshments, music, and a mini-mural project for you to help paint and have some fun!

As Yulia says, this mural is a labor of love. Yulia and Triangle Works have been organizing and evolving this project for a year, and we are so close now! We could really use your help to fund the needed supplies and equipment rentals to make it happen. Please support our project to transform this 2+ story wall into a work of art for everyone in the community to enjoy. We are keeping this project extremely lean, so every donation really counts and is greatly appreciated ❤️

Keep reading to learn more about Yulia, the location, use of the funds, Triangle Works, and all the work that has gone into this! Thank you for your support!

The Mural Site (4927 Appian Way)
The site is adjacent to the parking lot of the Krispy Krunchy Chicken that had a fire over a year ago. The fire lead to an underused parking lot, which as you may know, quickly starts to attract trash. Yulia and a number of our members have been very active in cleaning this up. We hope the new mural brings joy to all and will help this prominent spot elevate our community.

Also take a look at her other artwork. Yulia is an incredibly talented and experienced artist. We are in good hands!
