Deliver Water to Skid Row LA

UPDATE: if you are in LA and want to help deliver waters, please join the FB volunteer group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/281199375562114/
The next few days is when we'll need you most!
-----------------------------------------
Hello friend.
Rachel and I started our day in LA with a plan to get an AC unit to help deal with the sweltering heatwave. AC units all over town were pretty much sold out.
Having sweat our asses off just getting in and out of an air-conditioned car, we thought that maybe we can do more with our time.
We grabbed 100 waters for under $17, and headed downtown LA to the tragically famous Skid Row (if you are unfamiliar with it, there is PLENTY of info online). The 100 waters went in under 5 minutes and in two blocks (Skid row has about 50 blocks).
Realizing that what had first seemed like a large contribution, was merely a drop in the bucket, we decided that we needed to do more.
Here's where YOU come in:
-If you have time and wanna help, great! Grab some waters and do the same in your area, or reach out and coordinate with us.
-If you don't have time, but would like to contruibute financially, please donate! We'll be doing this anyway, but if you keep sending money, we'll keep delivering waters!
-If you don't have time or money, please share, share, SHARE! The more people that see this, the more that might donate, the more people get water.
Ideally, there would be more systems like this set up
in time for a heatwave (perhaps more eco-friendly, with reuseable water bottles and refilling stations). That being said, something needs to be done NOW, and this is surely a needed start.
All the money you give will go towards water that goes towards people who need it. We hope you can look into your sweaty, sweaty hearts to help!
Much Love,
Rachel and Adam
