Watkinson Middle School Read-A-Thon 2024

ABOUT OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL READ-A-THON

Through our annual read-a-thon, Watkinson middle school students aim to provide necessary funds to girls in Kenya who wish to attend school. For over ten years, our read-a-thon fundraiser has supported our friends in Kenya and raised the tuition money required for them to attend Tembea High School through the nonprofit organization BEADS for Education. In fact, through our fundraising, the Watkinson community has helped more than 20 girls go to school who might not otherwise have had the opportunity to get a high school education. This year, we will host the read-a-thon in the Wilson Gymnasium on December 20!
