Waylon Madison Sauer Scholarship Fund

Waylon Madison Sauer was a kind and generous friend, a motivated student, and a loving son and brother. He was a junior at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School when he tragically passed in a car accident in November 2023. Waylon was a proud member of the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) and was working to revitalize the Wampanoag Youth Group. He was incredibly bright and endlessly curious about the world. Waylon had big plans to pursue biology and computer science research in college.

To keep Waylon's memory alive, a scholarship has been created in his name. We need your help to make this scholarship as special as Waylon was. Your generous donation will enable deserving recipients to afford their college education.

The first annual Waylon Madison Sauer Memorial 3 v 3 Basketball Tournament took place on April 7, 2024 at MVRHS. Roughly $17,800 in sponsorships from the following businesses will be directed to the scholarship fund.
