Wayne Anthony Dawkins 5/24/70 - 12/1/22

My beloved husband was a man of great fortitude, strong conviction & intensity! His love & dedication to his family was his first priority always. Wayne was also a courageous 9/11 first responder who always relied on faith. He was a big man with a big heart. A protector of the weak , & a champion of the less fortunate. He mentored multiple troubled young & grown men throughout his life; and volunteered at rikers island & numerous rehab facilities. He was a leader of the youth ministry at his place of worship. Wayne was always known for giving his all to make sure someone else was in a better situation. In times of trouble he was a man of great courage, might & wisdom. My beloved husbands legacy will continue to live through his son and daughters. Thanks to all his friends, family & co workers at Consolidated Edison who have supported me & my family through his illness & now at the time of his demise. Anything is appreciated & will help drastically.
