Wayne Cofer’s emergency medical relief

Hey everyone, my name is Rachel. I’m Holly’s sister. I wanted to find a way to help out my sister, brother in law & my sweet nephew during this unexpected, difficult time. I know times are tough for everyone, but anything you could do to help would be greatly appreciated.

On 3/22/22 Wayne was checking the gutters when the ladder slipped causing him to fall roughly 8 feet from the roof landing on the deck. Wayne was quickly rushed to have x-rays. The fall fractured both of Wayne's elbows, fractured his left wrist, and caused a compression fracture in his lower back. Wayne has to have surgery for his wrist, wear a back brace, and has to wear a sling to promote healing in his elbows. In one day Wayne went from being able to work, help at home, and playing with his son, to depending on his wife to care for him around the clock.

Some background on Wayne, Holly, and Evan..

Wayne is a Marine Corps veteran, a hard working employee, and a dedicated dad and husband. Wayne works many long hours each week to provide a home for his wife and son. Wayne volunteers for extra hours at work to ensure that his family is taken care of allowing Holly to stay at home with their son. Wayne always makes time for his family even after working 12 hour shifts at work. Holly is a faithful wife and hard working mom. Holly's days start and end taking care of her family. Evan is your typical little 2 year old boy that's obsessed with his mom and dad.

Wayne and Holly are always helping others in their time of need. If someone needs help, Wayne and Holly are quick to offer a helping hand. Wayne and Holly never ask others for help. They face their challenges head on and sometimes stubbornly keep their struggles from others. Since Wayne and Holly wouldn't ask for help themselves, I've decided to reach out to the community to see if we could come together to help keep my sister’s family in need afloat. Wayne is the only source of income in the household and will be out of work for an unknown amount of time. Please help me spread the word and help their family keep their heads above water and make ends meet until Wayne can return to work. Wayne's surgery is going to be rather costly for them making it especially difficult for them as he will not be working during this time of recovery.
