Hey there! Let me catch you up...

In April 2020, COVID-19-related budget cuts took my long running (13 years) Bay Area Morning Radio show off the air. Since then, we have relocated to Las Vegas and I've been working very hard to find a way to continue to inform and entertain you regularly.

The opportunity is finally here! On April 3 2023, The Wayne Coy Show will debut on KSHP radio in Las Vegas. Initially on 1400 AM and then later in April, on 107.1 FM as well. Also, streaming on the web site, mobile app, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook Live and more.

Unlike every other radio job I have had since 1981 (yes, I started young) I will not be making a salary of any kind or working as an employee for a Broadcasting Company. In fact, I will be 100% responsible for ALL operating costs. Brokered airtime means, I will be paying a monthly fee to the station for my daily (M-F) timeslot. I am tasked with generating the advertising and sponsorship revenue that is needed to meet expenses and earn a living.

Daunting? Yeah. Scary? Maybe a bit, sure. But I could not be more excited about the prospects of FINALLY...for the first time since I started in radio, being completely in control of my trajectory. That means creative content, format, direction...all of it. FINALLY! I am looking SO forward to building the show and of course, to having you be along for the ride. We are going to have some fun!

In addition to the daily show, I will be hosting a weekly Podcast that will focus on the interviews conducted on the radio show and some special bonus features too.

"Movers, Shakers & Hitmakers with Wayne Coy" will give me a weekly platform to go one on one with the biggest stars in Music, Film, TV, Sports and Pop Culture. Being here in Las Vegas and hosting a daily show will present plenty of opportunities for me to reach out and grab it all for you to hear and enjoy.

I absolutely love conducting interviews and experiencing the natural give and take of conversation. I pride myself on asking the questions that you want to know the answers to. Over my long career, I've been able to get up close and personal with so many notables including...
