Wayne Cross' Healing/Rehab Fund

Help Wayne get back to caring for animals again.

While recovering from a total knee replacement, our dear friend and co-worker, Wayne Cross passed out and was rushed to the hospital. According to the ER and ICU staff he has encountered an infection that seems to be unrelated to his original surgery. Wayne is currently in ICU and with the help of countless antibiotics is slowly recovering.

For those of you who know Wayne, he has been with TLC First Animal Hospital since its inception in 2008. Wayne has always cared for the patients here with his full heart. At any given moment, you will find him snuggling with a recovering dog after a procedure or just hanging out with a cat so that they don’t feel all alone. He has even been caught holding an animal’s hand during surgery. If you have a pet, you know how much that means to them and to you. He has rescued several cats that were left at our back door or found in the alley injured so badly that they required amputation. He has brought them in to his home and his family, no questions asked. Wayne also does some cat sitting in his free time, taking special care to medicate those that need it.

Now he needs your help to get back on his feet again. With expected medical bills to reach over $100,000, we have started this campaign to help cover his medical bills and living expenses so he can concentrate on fighting this infection.
