Wayne Crowther Memorial Fund

Wayne Crowther was an amazing artist in all senses of the word, sharing himself with the world through music, art, and discussions that ranged from the spiritual to the farcical. He was an accomplished tattoo artist, and a talented musician and producer, collaborating with as many folks as he could manage, always full of new ideas and visions of what he wanted to create. Typically Wayne carried with him an instrument -- a guitar, a ukelele -- and his iPad, ready to pursue ideas as they came to him, or jam with anyone who was willing. He had a slew of websites, each devoted to his views of the world, from the sacred to the profane.

Wayne had more creativity than most of us, more drive to pursue those ideas with so many friends and loved ones, and tragically, less time than any of us realized.

His sudden death has left so many of us reeling, and off-center. And we know that in this moment of helplessness, many of us want to do something to return some of the love he and his family -- particularly his mom, Lola, and sister, Michele -- have given to so many of us.

We’re establishing this GoFundMe to ease the burden his family is faced with planning his memorial. Any additional funds will be put aside to help his 16-year-old daughter, Isabella -- an artist herself, much like her father -- with her current and future needs.

We know this is just one way to show those he left behind -- his mother, his sister, his daughter and her mother, Tammy, his loving girlfriend, Rachel, and all of his many family members, and friends who feel like family -- how much he meant to all of us, and how much knowing him has changed and challenged all of us.

Wayne will be missed, but his legacy will always live on.
