Wayne DeLano Memorial

Wayne DeLano. One of this world’s best gifts in life. Anyone who was even around him felt like he was your best friend and brother. His compassion and loving heart was always on display. And this was expressed most generously through his gift of music. He was a true master. And as many true musicians can attest, we don’t do it for the money. It is about the pure emotion and aesthetic conveyed and experienced. Wayne was the world’s finest in this art. Much of his life’s efforts were into his song. Conversely he did not anticipate his family to burden the event of his unexpected passing.

That is where this fundraiser comes in. I am Wayne's oldest nephew Shane Packard. He is a direct influence on what I am doing with my life today. As evident on his page, there are numerous others who feel the same. I am rallying support for the expense of the arrangements wished of his family. The immediate need is for $5,000.00. The timeline is ASAP as the facility is holding for payment. Given the volume of condolences received, this seams to be an easily surmountable task. Approximately 70% of the funds will go to his cremation. The rest will be used to transport and memorialize his remains in his home state of Michigan. Anything received above the target amount will go completely to his daughter for her future.
