As most of you are now aware, we lost Wayne on Sunday, May 5th. His death was sudden and unexpected, and has left us all reeling. He was an amazing father, a cherished PopPop, and a dear friend.
Unfortunately, he was not prepared to leave us in any way. While his son and granddaughter are grieving their tremendous loss, Nick is struggling to sort through bills and finances. Wayne was the primary source of income while Nick finished his schooling, so everything is in his father's name. This makes access to funds next to impossible for the foreseeable future.
We set up this GoFundMe to help Nick with expenses in the time ahead. Any extra that doesn't go toward the hospital bill, rent, utilities and groceries while he rummages through all that Eagles memorabilia will go into an account for Akira, Wayne's granddaughter.
Wayne was always there for us. Let's step up and be there for him.
