Wayne (Papa) Halliday's Celebration of Life

Hi, my name is Kendzie my Papa passed away last week he was an incredible husband, father, and the best "Papa" around. Those who knew him would say he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, he always had a glowing smile on his face and would go to the ends of the Earth for those he had any ability to help. He always had an open door to his home in Flaming Gorge where he created endless memories for everyone and anyone who had the fortune of visiting him and Gumgum.

In 1966, he married the love of his life, Linda Bosshardt, on December 21, and together they raised 4 children, Hidy Bingham, Steven Halliday, Brandie Goodman, and David Halliday. They have 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. This year they would have celebrated their 56th wedding Anniversary. During their life together, they were fortunate to share many memories across the country from Wayne's call to service as a Vietnam veteran that he took immense pride in.

Papa passed away very rapidly on Feb 20th, 2023 in the loving arms of Gumgum and surrounded by his 4 children. Papa wanted to be cremated and he didn't want people to be sad when he passed, he wanted the people he cared about to come together and celebrate his life. This has turned out to be very expensive for Gum Gum with the cremation costs, and celebration of life venue, right now she is not even able to wear her wedding rings because they need to be fixed.

We humbly ask any who have had the opportunity and blessing of knowing Papa and Gum Gum to help us support her to pay for Papa's celebration wish. We are hoping to be able to get Gum Gum's wedding rings fixed for her to wear and remember the love of her life. We are grateful for the already immense amount of outpouring love and support for our family and know that this is an incredible ask of those of you reading this post. We are forever indebted to those who are able to assist us in this time of need and we as a family cannot express our gratitude enough for anything that you are able to donate.
