Wayne Downer Recovery Relief

We preach how strong our MMA community is, and now we have an opportunity to prove it. Wayne Downer, an amateur fighter competing in his MMA debut on August 27th, suffered a catastrophic injury that no one wishes to see happen to a fighter, let alone one on their first walk. While trying to get out of a submission hold, Wayne's humerus bone snapped, and he will now require surgery with a lengthy recovery ahead of him.

Though injuries in this sport are not uncommon, one of this nature is very rare. Any contributions from our great community would be greatly appreciated and will be a massive help with his aid and recovery.

And for anyone asking about his spirits...Put it this way; he was at the hospital asking how quickly he could get back in the gym!
