Wayne's Fight to Heal and Support His Family

On the afternoon of April 9th, our neighbor and good friend, Wayne, was involved in a serious accident. He has little memory of what happened; he was on his motorcycle on his way home when he was hit by a vehicle. This happened near State Route 163/Highway 52 just outside of Tierrasanta.

The first two weeks in the hospital were the scariest. Aside from Wayne's broken leg (in 3 places), his 9 broken ribs, and a broken scapula, he struggled to breathe due to the trauma. He was in an induced coma and on life support.

After 2 weeks, Wayne finally made it out of the ICU! However, he still has a 6-8 month long difficult road to recovery.

Wayne is a small business owner and the sole provider for his family. Wayne's wife, Jennifer, has been by his side in the hospital, and his two young daughters are waiting for their daddy to come home. Anybody that knows him, loves him. And for those that don't know him, you have probably seen him around Tierrasanta painting your neighbor's house.

Let's help our friend and neighbor during the biggest challenge of his and his family's life! Wayne's mother, Jeannine, and his painting crew are doing their best to keep the painting business going strong.
