Wayne's Journey to Recovery

The team at SafestWork has decided to start a GoFundMe for Wayne Harris. Wayne suffered two strokes on May 19th including a Right Ventricle Thalamic Stroke which has affected his left side. With time and rehab we are hoping he will be able to return to work.

Wayne has a long-standing working relationship with SafestWork as a Senior Field Safety Advisor, but unfortunately, he will be out of work for a while.

At this time, Wayne’s friends at SafestWork would like to take the burden off of him, his friends and his family, and raise money to help with costs of medication and any other expenses that may come his way. Wayne does not have extended health coverage; all of his medications are out of pocket. We at SafestWork want to be able to assist with these costs.

Wayne is very involved with Windsor’s Baseball community. He plays Baseball at Mic Mac with an amazing team “50 N Over” league for The Drouillard Boys, Co-Ed at Vollmer, and also is a part of the Michigan League “50 N Over”. He is also involved with many tournaments.

As well as the GoFundMe we will be holding a benefit BBQ On July 9th at 1:00 PM-4:00PM for Wayne at 3033 Marentette Avenue located directly behind Devonshire Mall.
