Ways to Support Heather & Family

Donation protected
On February 3rd, 2022 our mother Heather Fletcher was brought into the ER due to what we thought was a COVID-19 complication. After performing a CT scan, they found that she had a brain aneurysm that ruptured twice (once on 1/27 and again on 2/3) and needed to send her somewhere with a neurological unit.

They then decided to send her via helicopter to Marshfield, WI. Once landed, they were able to get her blood pressure down and control her pain as they evaluated her.

Through the evaluation, the doctors decided to do another CT scan and planned to do surgery to stop the bleeding.

Later that afternoon, they began surgery to stop the aneurysm from bleeding into her brain. After 5 ½ hours, the surgeons successfully got the bleeding to stop.

On February 4th, they did another CT scan that showed no new bleeding. Currently, she can move the right side of her body well. The left side of her body, however, is experiencing paralysis. The doctors believe she will have a long road to recovery, but we are hopeful because of her strength.

The funds raised here will help pay for gas as we travel back and forth to the hospital, hotels, food and other things that will help support our mom during this long recovery process.
