Emergency COVID Relief For Missoula Sex Workers

Missoula area sex workers are experiencing a serious, if not complete loss of income due to COVID-19. While we support the Missoula County Health Officer’s decision to close bars, it has put exotic dancers out of work, after already suffering from a significant decrease in recent business. Escorts and other sex workers who rely on in-person appointments are dealing with cancellations, and all workers are putting themselves and others at risk if they are even able to continue to do their jobs.

We need this fund to stay housed, fed, and safe, as many in our community are struggling to find work and pay for basic necessities at this time. We are asking for donations from our allies, clients, organizations, and anyone not impacted by the pandemic. Funds received will be distributed to our most vulnerable community members first—those who are BIPOC, queer/trans, have dependents, or are immunocompromised.
