Richard Herring

Always been a hard worker

Loved his family

Always helped others and would give you the shirt off his back.

Never met a stranger.

Always treated others as he would want to be treated and taught his children to do the same.

Richard Herring became sick 7/17/2021. After a few days of high fever and throwing up, his wife and daughter finally convinced him to go to the hospital 5 days later…as his wife was driving him to the hospital, his oxygen dropped to 56 and she had to call 911…An ambulance met her halfway and rushed him to the hospital…he was admitted on the 7/22/2021 and has been there every since…he was put on the Bipap High Flow Ventilator 100% & 70 Liters which is one step away from the invasive ventilator. He was moved to ICU on Sunday but we believe in miracles and we have people all over praying and they finally was able to drop his numbers to 70% & 45 Liters and he was able to be moved back to the Covid Floor (A MIRACLE) and he is holding steady and if he keeps holding steady and everything goes as planned, he will soon be moved to a branch off the hospital called a long term facility for Covid patients to help him wean off of the Bipap and he will go to the regular oxygen and hopefully be weaned off oxygen completely but we know he has a long road to recover.

Richard was the main source of their income and his wife is a seamstress and they had all their bills paid on time. His wife has exhausted almost all her savings to keep them afloat but it won’t be enough to keep them going until he fully recovers and he will have to choose a different profession because his lungs will have to heal completely. His wife plans to find a part time job along with her sewing to help pay their bills.

They are not the type to ask for a hand out because they believe in working hard for what they have and that is why I’m asking for a small donation to help this family stand during this difficult time in their lives. It will take a few months before he completely recover and I don’t want them to worry about about staying afloat while he’s trying to recover.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and we hope you can find it in your hearts to give just a small amount towards this goal!!
