West Baden Church Renewal Project

We accepted the challenge to restore the First Baptist (Colored) Church of West Baden Springs, Indiana. It is on the National Register of Historic Places , and had appeared on Indiana's Landmarks 10 Most Endangered List until we accepted the challenge. The renovation of this historic church would meet the spiritual needs of this community through worship, fellowship, and ministry to all people without discrimination. This grant will help us restore the building in which we will reestablish the historic church, enabling the enhancement of faith, hope, and love through educating and inspiring present and future generations.
