Prayers for Ryan
My brother, Ryan Satterfield, was diagnosed Sunday January 12 with a brain tumor in his left frontal lobe. We feel confident with the Neurosurgeon who has taken over his care, and we are trying to stay as positive and optimistic as possible by leaning on the power of prayer. His surgery is scheduled for Friday morning and the hopes are that the surgeon will be able to get most of the tumor, if not all of it. It will then be sent for biopsy which can take anywhere from 4 days-2 weeks for the results to come back. The results will tell us what type of tumor it is, the grade of the tumor and what the future holds from there. Please pray hard for the peace and comfort for Ryan, his family and friends, steady hands for the surgeons and the best possible prognosis for Ryan. We believe in the power of prayer. We will post with updates as soon as we can.
“He is not afraid of bad news; His heart is firm trusting the Lord.”
Psalms 112: 7
“Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again From the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.”
Psalm 71:20 (NIV)
”Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God. The peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. “
Phillipians 4:6-7
