Support Dante's Journey to Health

Meet Dante, a charming 2-year-old Grenadian pot hound with a heart full of love. Until recently, he lived on the streets of Grenada, navigating life on his own. This past week, we welcomed him into our care with the hope of finding him a forever home. Sadly, during our efforts to help him, we discovered that Dante is battling heartworm disease and has several healed fractures in his pelvis.

We are reaching out to the community for support in covering his veterinary expenses. Your contributions will ensure that Dante receives the essential treatments he needs to become healthy and happy again. The funds will go toward his vaccines, bloodwork, heartworm tests, heartworm treatment, and radiographs.

This price is in eastern Caribbean dollars since we are still on the island of Grenada. In USD that is approximately $1,700. This is just for the heartworm treatment and not any other rechecks or bloodwork.

Update! It’s been 1 week since his first vet visit and he’s doing well on his medications preparing him for the next steps in his heartworm treatment.

Update! Thank you everyone for the donations! It’s been almost a month since Dante came inside and he is settling in well. He has learned how to sit, lay down, and touch!
