Help Andy Simpson fight cancer

No one expects to have to deal with cancer, but unfortunately, many of us have a personal connection to it. We are Eric and Tracy Esp and we are raising money to help our good friend of ten years, Andy Simpson, who is now battling Stage 3 Bladder Cancer.
Andy answered God’s call to western Montana some 30 years ago to spread his faith. In spite of being confined to a wheelchair due to an accident in his teen years, he met the challenges of rugged Montana life with stubborn independence and community involvement in the places he lived. His strong faith and his teaching Life’s Lessons with his positive attitude and friendly personality have touched many lives across this country. Andy has spent countless hours volunteering his time and talents to his communities. He has also helped guide the youth in our surrounding areas, as well as ministering and visiting with the elderly. Anyone who has encountered and come to know Andy, love him and his easygoing style.
We have a true friend in need in Andy. Andy and Alisa Simpson felt the urge to return to their birth state of North Carolina to be closer to their families. Unbeknownst to many, Andy had been fighting health issues at that time. He had been in and out of the ER and hospitals many times recently, trying to find out what was causing his health problems. Within days of arriving in North Carolina, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Bladder Cancer.
Andy has begun his cancer journey with a course of immunotherapy treatments that have left him tired, weak and unable to work. These treatments are weekly and are necessary for up to 24 months. Weekly travel is 150 miles for the infusions as well as related care. The road ahead will be long, challenging and expensive. We are thankful for Andy’s team of doctors and health care workers fighting for him, as well as for the love of family and friends, and the support of his Montana and North Carolina communities.
Andy has been an inspiration to many of us across the country over the years with his ministry and his commitment to his fellow man. It is now our turn to touch Andy and Alisa with our prayers and financial support. Please help us return the prayers, encouragement and hope they have given so many others by donating any amount you can to this Go Fund Me. And please feel free to share this post.
