Help Finley Get Top Surgery

Hi my name’s Finley. I’v started this fundraiser in the hope to get top surgery as I am female to male transgender. I have been lucky enough to self fund my transition so far and after multiple zoom calls and doctors appointments I have officially started testosterone!

I believe that the next goal in my transition is to get top surgery however this doesn’t come cheap! I have a consultation with my surgeon booked for November where I will gain a better idea as to how much it will be, though I have been quoted between £8,000-£10,000 depending on how long I am in surgery for!

I’v set my goal to roughly half the cost as I am working hard to cover the remaining amount myself!

This surgery will certainly change my life for the better as I won’t have to think about if my binder is showing through my T-shirt, the blisters I have on my chest from the trans tape or rib pain from wearing my binder for too long.

I came out as transgender to close family and friends in October of 2020 and by July 2021 I was living my true self as Finley! I began medically transitioning not long after this and started hormones a year later. Not only has coming out allowed me to live truthfully but it has also allowed me to become so much more confident in myself!

This surgery means everything to me. I want to be able to do normal things like take a shower and not want to cry every time I see my chest.

I want to be able to wake up and not be dependant on binders or trans tape to cover my chest. I want to take my shirt off at the beach and go swimming in the sea! I know this surgery will allow me to do all of these things but I need your help to make this possible.
