We almost lost Dr Maria Nunez...please help her

My name is Gabi Redondo and I am the niece of Dra. María J. Núñez. My 89-year-old aunt entered the Caracas Metropolitan Clinic on October 11 with septic shock, fever, and very low blood pressure. Medical studies concluded that she had Sepsis from a urinary tract infection caused by a serious bacteria. Luckily, the sepsis got into her blood, but miraculously it didn't affect other organs in her body. She also had second-degree burns (blisters) in the dorsal and lumbar region, fainting, and a sharp gout on a right toe. She was in intensive care and thank goodness, after a week she was discharged on October 19. My aunt is already retired and the pension she receives is not enough to pay for the clinic, medicines, daily care from a nurse, physical therapy to strengthen her back and legs. My family and I will care for her and support her for the rest of her life, but we cannot afford to pay the bill for the clinic and therapy she needs. My aunt dedicated her entire life to saving lives and preparing future doctors. She worked for many years, not only at the Metropolitan Clinic but also at the Hospital Universitario. At the Hospital, she not only helped many patients without financial resources, but also helped create and develop the infectious disease department. Please help with whatever you can. Even a small amount is a large amount in Venezuela.

Mi nombre es Gabi Redondo y soy la sobrina de la Dra. María J. Nunez. Mi tía, de 89 aῇos ingresó a la Clínica Metropolita en Caracas el 11 de Octubre con un shock séptico, fiebre y presión arterial muy baja. Los estudios médicos concluyeron que presentó una Urosepsis producto de una bacteria. Por suerte la Sepsis llegó a la sangre pero, por un milagro no afectó otros organos. También tuvo lesiones de quemadura de segundo grado  (ampollas) en región dorsal y lumbar, desmayos y una Gota Aguda en un dedo del pie derecho. Estuvo en terapia intensiva y gracias a Dios, luego de una semana fué dada de alta el 19 de Octubre. Mi tía ya está retirada y la pensión que recibe no es suficiente para cancelar gastos de la clínica, medicamentos, atención diaria de una enfermera o ayudante, terapia física para fortalecer su espalda y piernas. Mi familia y yo vamos a cuidarla y apoyarla el resto de su vida, pero no podemos cancelar los gastos de la clínica y terapia que ella necesita.  Trabajó muchos años, no solo en la Clínica Metropolitana sino también en el Hospital Universitario. En el Hospital, no solo ayudó a muchos pacientes sin recursos económicos, sino que también ayudó a crear y desarrollar el departamento de enfermedades infecciosas. Por favor ayude con lo que pueda. Incluso una pequeña cantidad es una gran cantidad en Venezuela.
