"We Are All Connected Art Project"
Donation protected
In 2020, many people were feeling isolated due to Covid-19. I was looking for a creative solution and, as a lifelong artist accustomed to solutions coming when least expected, I saw a 20-piece white puzzle and was reminded of how puzzles fit together to form a whole. The “We Are All Connected Art Project” was born. I send puzzle pieces to friends and artists who are invited to use their chosen technique on the piece and I enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return.
I've received over 1,000 puzzle pieces done by people from all over the United States and 25 other countries. I do not ask for nor impose conditions except the simple act of doing a puzzle piece. Many or most pieces come back to me with a note of appreciation or a personal story of how important it is to be included. The puzzle pieces are done by people of all ethnicities, genders, ages, and stature whose collective voice is reaching out to be connected through the creative spirit. The response from so many diverse artists has been incredible and beyond generous.

My intention is to gather and express the power of this voice at a time when the world seems deeply divided. Nearly all of the puzzle images can be seen on my Instagram @beasagar.
I’ve worked on this project for over a year and a half and feel a deep responsibility to all the people who have already participated and those that are asking and waiting for the pieces to come. I need funds to continue to grow the project and share its message and I ask for your help to buy more materials, (puzzles, envelopes, stamps, and frames for the 50 already completed puzzles). I also need funds and assistance to document, photograph, catalog, find a sponsor, and an appropriate gallery or institution which would allow people to see and experience the Project directly.
I appreciate all of your support.
