When the last stage of pregnancy comes, it seems more difficult, as the belly becomes heavy and the soul is between fear and hope for that approaching day, the day when life screams announcing the birth of a new individual, a day that may be long or short, but it may be one of the most difficult and beautiful days of my life at the same time, as difficult things meet beautiful things, and opposites come together in one thing and at one time, as love brings together happiness, pain and joy in us, brings together laughter with tears, and age brings together increase with decrease, and faith brings together fear and security, as if life is not sweet except by the meeting of its opposites.

Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters, my name is Lara and abdalla akram

I am reaching out to you in a time of profound urgency and desperation. I am seeking your assistance to raise funds for the emergency evacuation of my family from Gaza with this GoFundMe page. After enduring 6 months of destruction and horror but as we are still in the process of figuring out our evacuation, I know we will have to leave all our family behind and I cannot describe to you the pain that comes with this heavy decision.

Today, I am reaching out with all the hope left in my heart, to help me raise enough funds to save my family who is trapped and threatened every second that passes in Gaza. The funds will be To rebuild our beautiful home and other essential expenses associated with ensuring their safety during this challenging time.

Since October 7th, we have experienced multiple displacements. Our home has been destroyed, and my once successful business are all burned down to ashes! We have no income and have been living in a tent on a street for months, lacking access to sanitation, medical supplies, food, and water.
