We Are Asking For Help

Update: Hello, my name is LaRonda and I’m fundraising for my brother, Charles, LaKesha and his three children. My brother still has not heard anything from Social Security. My brother has been diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). CIDP is a neurological disorder that involves progressive weakness and reduced senses in the arms and legs. It is caused by damage to the fat-based protective covering on nerves called the myelin sheath. Symptoms of CIDP are: Tingling or no feeling in fingers and toes. My brother is experiencing tingling in his feet, swelling in his right foot, struggling to picking up his right foot and losing his balance. Due to the symptoms of CIDP my brother is not able to work which has left their household with only one income currently.

My brother is having to take physical therapy and to be administered medication through IV. With only one income, medical expenses and paying the regular household expenses (house note, lights, water, and food) is causing tremendous financial deficit for my brother and his family. Although my brother is doing the treatments and physical therapy we do not if the nerves will repair and return to normal.
