We are Delfa Strong

Scott Delfa is a long time resident of Westchester County, NY. He is 55 years old and has spent more than half his life protecting and serving his community. Scott spent four of those years as a Yorktown Police Officer and 30 years working with the Westchester County Department Of Corrections. He is a father, a husband, a friend, an outstanding and loving human being.

On October 31st, 2018, after a trip to the ER for chest pains, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Gastro-adenocarcinoma, stomach cancer. With his family and friends by his side Scott has received his first round of chemo treatments and is scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor on the 24th of January. He then will require more Chemotherapy.

With the rising medical bills and Scott not being able to work his normal OT and second job (yes this man is a workaholic), they are struggling. They are struggling silently because these are not the type of people to ask for financial help. Which is admirable but in a situation like this, that's not necessary. We are here to help. We are here to fight this fight with you. You are not alone. We are Delfa Strong.
