Do you want to join us in making a difference? We are two lads from Tameside raising money to aid Purple Heart Wishes; every donation will help. We have run long distances before, but nothing like we have planned for later this year ....

On August 25th, we are setting off from St Bees on the West coast of England with the intent of arriving ten days later at Robin Hood's Bay on the East coast. We are running the Wainwright Way, 185 miles via the Lake District, Pennines and the North Yorkshire Moors.

We are doing this to try and raise money for young adults with terminal illnesses. Purple Heart Wishes fund 'wishes' to make dreams come true for people who don't have the option to leave them to later in their lives.

Imagine looking forward to your future then someone telling you that you have very little time left. The average 'wish' costs around £500 to arrange so with a target of £2000, that's four young people who will be able to enjoy an unforgettable experience.

It is costing us each £960 personally to do this, but every penny you donate will go straight to PHW.
