We aren't ready to give up on Kingston

Three years ago when my son Jed was 6, he saved his money, proved that he could be responsible and convinced us that he was ready for a puppy. He was absolutely in love. Sadly just a few months later, his puppy passed away due to a genetic disorder.  To say that he was heartbroken would be a huge understatement. 
He was so miserable that the only thing we could think to do was to get another puppy. That's when Kingston waddled into our lives. August 2019.


Kingston and Jed were instantly best friends! Their relationship was twice as strong as our puppy that passed. They did everything together.  Jed's heart was healed. 
At 11 weeks old Kingston was playing in the yard, enjoying life, when he came across a Bee. What did he do... tried to eat it! As he did, the bee stung him in his throat and caused it to immediately start to swell. We almost lost him and Jed was absolutely terrified.  Knowing how much Kingston meant to Jed, our family rallied around us. They put together the thousands of dollars for his care and even helped when we spent weeks providing 24 hour care. Months later Kingston recovered and we were whole.


Three days ago, Kingston fell. Something was off so I took him to our wonderful vet that had worked so hard to save him before. The news was devastating,  Kingston needs back surgery. The surgery is estimated to cost $4000-$8000. We just don't have it.

I just can't tell my son that he is going to lose Kingston because we can't afford it. If you feel drawn to and can, please help us save Kingston. Please help save my son from losing another best friend ❤
