Help Fatima save what is remains of her family in Gaza

Fatima Samir is a dear young woman who was born and raised in Gaza 26 years ago. She enjoys a happy marriage, holds a degree in English from Al-Isra University, and has a wonderful two-year-old son, Abboud, who is her reason for living. Before October 7th, Fatima led a peaceful life, with a deep passion for cooking. In the bright, well-equipped kitchen of her new home—the dream house bought after many sacrifices—she would lose herself for hours, photographing and posting her recipes on social media until she became a successful food creator. Palestinian pizza and qidra, the two dishes for which she’s legendary! Her dream was to one day open a restaurant and become a renowned chef around the world.

Now all of that is gone—her home, dreams, passions, and hopes—all destroyed. Her kitchen, once filled with every blessing, has become a makeshift shelter with a small stove and a few pots burnt from the fire. Delicious food has become a distant dream, thirst is unbearable, and life is spent among insects, in poor sanitary conditions, with constant rain, unbearable heat, and the constant, tragic threat of death looming.

Let’s help Fatima and little Abboud escape this nightmare. Like everyone in Gaza, they have been displaced countless times. A year has passed, and the horror seems never-ending.
