We Can't AfFORD a Billboard
Donation protected
For over 2 years not a single child has come off the therapy waitlist for the Ontario Autism Program.
Throughout their mandate, the PC party of Ontario repeatedly stated that “ 23,000 kids languishing on a waitlist is unconscionable,” somehow justifying the dismantling the Ontario Autism Program.
Fast forward to present day, that list has grown to over 45,000 children, service capacity across the province has been destroyed, and thousands of families in Ontario are in crisis. The provincial government refuses to listen to the community and experts in the field, and intends on marching forward with their disastrous plan.
We at the Ontario Autism Coalition insist on being heard. How you may ask? How about a billboard? Do you think that will get them moving faster? Let's turn up the heat on Todd Smith, Doug Ford, and the entire PC caucus.
We have plans for a province wide media campaign and maybe a few surprises along the way! Here’s the thing, these things are not cheap and election time is right around the corner. So If you can pitch in just $5, that will help us to get to our goal and help amplify thousands of Ontarians. If you can donate more, then please do! Please share this GoFundMe on social media. Remember folks, Tony will shave his beard when we reach $20,000. We can do this!
Please note that the Ontario Autism Coalition is a non-profit organization, not a charity. We chose this route so we can advocate on the political scene for accessible, ethical, evidence-based and comprehensive autism services. We unfortunately cannot issue receipts for your donation
