Tools stolen from sea can AAFO

Hello. We have been working hard for many, many years to try and help as many people as we can. I am afraid that now we have to ask for some help.
Let me give you a bit of a back story. 11 years ago, Bernie ( the husband half of the duo that started aafo by taking bags of needed items down to street people), was in a coma. The medical society never figured out what went wrong, but it took him months to learn to walk again and left some personality changes and difficulties with memory and emotion. Then 7 years ago, he was coming home from work. Two dogs jumped out of their owner's control and ran onto the highway. When he hit his brakes to avoid killing them, he was rear-ended by a tour bus. The accident left him with small tears in his brain, torn cartilage in his ribs, his spine bent the wrong way at his neck and a torn tendon in his shoulder. As he will always be in pain from his ribs, and constant headaches, he can't move as fast as he used to and had difficulties keeping a job due to that, so he went into business for himself, which would allow him to move at his own pace.
He finished a self-employment course..just as covid hit. So the first year ( we are in year 2), was a real struggle. Then he had his truck, with 30,000 of tools, stolen from in front of our house. yes, we know who did it, had the guy on video camera, and forwarded the items he listed on FB to the police. We were told nothing could be done. We begged, borrowed, and put tools on credit cards to get the items most needed. we are still paying off those credit cards and will be for a long time.
Today, someone went up to the sea can where we store food and tools, in a compound that "supposedly" had security and cameras. and cut the lock off the sea can. They stole 4500 worth of tools. They also stole rigging and such off of other trucks that were up there. However, we simply can't do this again. We spend almost every spare penny we have on fuel and such to operate the outreach and have just no way of replacing this amount of tools. This is in addition to struggling to try and come up with $5000 to replace the transmission in the vehicle we use to pick up and deliver food to people. So today, instead of asking for help to help others..we are asking for help for ourselves
