We Care Campaign for unpaid carers in UK
Donation protected
Help unpaid carers campaign on the issues that are affecting them.
We Care Campaign is campaigning to get a better deal for the UK's 7 million carers.
Over half of all unpaid carers have borrowed money to make ends meet.
Two-thirds of unpaid carers have reported a long term health condition.
Carers provide the equivalent of £132 billion of care a year.
We Care has raised carers' issues like these both locally and nationally. We have engaged with carers in workshops, given talks and used a wide range of digital tools to value carers. But to do more, we need your support.
We want to reach out to more carers. We want to reach out and campaign with more carers, encouraging them to use their own stories, to influence decision makers. We can only do this with your help. Can you help today?
A small amount can make a real difference :
£2 will help to pay for postage of campaign materials to an individual carer.
£5 will help fund a campaign phone call.
£40 will help buy 100 badges for carers so they feel part of our campaigning community.
1 in 9 people are carers and most of us at some point will take on a caring role.
By donating today you are helping to get carers the recognition they deserve and for their care to be valued by decision makers and by society as a whole as we continue to campaign for all unpaid carers.
Thank you for your support,
Best wishes,
Katy Styles
