We Care For Kylie: Donate to help Kylie Patterson
Donation protected
In December of 2022, 25 year-old Kylie Patterson was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer that had aggressively spread before any symptoms were present.
Kylie spent much of her childhood in Mississippi and was active in equestrian sports, choir, and band. Years later, having graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas, she took a gap year and backpacked across Europe. At a hostel in Montenegro she met Marcus, an Australian... and the future love of her life. Kylie attended graduate school in Melbourne, Australia and completed her Masters in Environmental Science. Kylie had been working full-time and building a wonderful life in Australia with Marcus.
When Kylie received her diagnosis her family rushed her back to the United States where she is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments every 11 days at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. Marcus and their adopted dog Monty are at her constant side. Kylie is a fighter and plans to have many more chapters to experience in her life.
Kylie's oncologist has encouraged her to travel and experience as much as possible between treatments and the funds raised here will directly help her make the most of this time. As long as Kylie feels well enough to travel she deserves the chance to live as fully as possible, and this is where your generosity makes all the difference in the world. Additionally, while Kylie's family and their insurance are covering a lot of the massive costs associated with her treatment and care, there is still a lot that insurance will not cover... so these funds can also potentially help cover any experimental treatments and curative paths that will hopefully present themselves along the way.
Thank you for supporting Kylie!
