We have been displaced from our home due to safety

Hi my name is Karen and I am looking to move to a safe home . On New Year's Eve night. We smelled plastic burning in the house. We called 911 and the firefighters came out. They inspected the home and did not detect a source of the smoke and no fire.They turned off the power and the gas. They told us that we could not stay in the house because it wasn't safe. They also told us to call a licensed electrician which we did. He inspected the home and told us that the whole electrical system needs to be updated. and if we turned the power back on it could start a fire.

We do not have any family in the state. We had to check into motel

Where we have been since the incident .I am a retired teacher on a fixed income. My two dependent adult children live with me. My 40 year old son is autistic and my 38 year old daughter has been hospitalized with emotional issues in 2021.

We will not be able to stay in a motel much longer because I can't afford it. Once we get resettled, I plan on selling the house as is because I'm no longer able to maintain it.
