Chester Marathon 2019

Myself, my sister in law Lindsay and our friend Laura have decided to run Chester marathon in October this year to raise funds for a small charity with a cause close to our hearts.
Fletcher’s Fund is a charity set up by the family of a little boy Fletcher who lost his life battling cancer. 
They provide grants to young people and their families living with cancer to make precious memories having fun to break up the horrible days they endure whilst in treatment, they also provide hundreds of art and craft bags to paediatric oncology wards. 
I know personally that these two things will make a massive difference to families faced with these circumstances because my family have lived these days in 2016 when my little girl was in treatment.
She was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma when she was 17months old. Fletcher was one of the first little boys Keeva met on the ward and the family was one of the first we shared our journey with.
Keeva went on to have a successful liver transplant and 10 rounds of chemotherapy. Our life is now finding a new normal again fortunately for us.
I feel that now is the time for me to go all out to raise funds to support the purpose of Fletcher’s Fund.
