We live in dark reality in Gaza, help us to reach safety

I am organising this gofund me for my friend Arkan who I have met during my activism of this terrible ordeal. The money will be used to help arkan with being able to save his and his families lives. This is Arkans story-

Hello my friends and to the Gofundme community,

I am Arkan Al Sayed, an architect, interior designer, mentor in the Freelancing and I was working online as a freelancer, I am 25 years old, I live in Gaza, in the state of Palestine.

Before 7 October, the situation was well in Gaza, but after that everything changed and the situation turned upside down.

Amid the bombing and destruction of our homes and livelihoods, there is a severe scarcity of basic necessities of life (no electricity, no water, no suitable food, and no gas for cooking).

On 8 October, My office, which I was renting, was destroyed at Watan Tower in Gaza City, Al Saraya area. The academy that I was working it also destroyed, So I lost my job and my income to support my family.

On 13 November, there was a bombing near us, me and my mother were injured as we survived under the rubble . We fled to our neighbour's house but we were still also in danger every day. Our house has been destroyed, and I will attach a picture of it.

Here I've attached a YouTube video of my ten-year-old sister, she is explaining what happened to us and our situation when we ran away while we were injured in looking for safety. Please help her reach safety, no child in the world should have to face this and to worry everyday about losing their life. She has so many hopes and dreams like all of us.

We had to emigrate to look for a safe place, and we had to live in tents, The living in tents is very difficult, during winter our tents sunk in the rain. It is now summer and we are surrounded by reptiles and insects. Along with no basic necessities for life, we are without a suitable refuge.

As of now I have lost many members of my family, my sister’s husband, my cousin’s wife, and her children.

In conclusion, our home, office and workplace are destroyed, and we are living everyday in fear of our lives in tents. I hope that you will help me and my family to come back to life, and escape from the Gaza Strip until the end of the war and the reconstruction that was destroyed.

Please help us reach safety and start a new, peaceful, and happy life.
