We LOVE Chris Stewart!

Hi, my name is Alli Mauss and I am Chris' sister. Chris was at Lake Powell a few weeks ago and got a cut on his foot as he was pulling his boat out of the water. It was small and he didn't think anything of it and carried on for the next few days. A rolled ankle had him at the doctor to make sure it wasn't broken (which it wasn't) but they were concerned about the cut on his foot and said it was infected. They gave him an antibiotic and sent him on his way. A few days later, he went to InstaCare because the infection wasn't getting better. They immediately sent him to the ER where he went into emergency surgery. The infection had spread and was rapidly traveling up his leg. They weren't sure whether or not they would be able to save his leg and foot and he has since had four surgeries trying to avoid amputation.

If you know Chris, YOU LOVE CHRIS. He is a gentle giant who would do anything for anyone, almost to a fault. He has a LONG road to recovery with additional surgeries and massive amounts of Physical Therapy as doctors try to put his leg and foot back together. We are trying to alleviate some of the financial burden he will have since he won't be able to work for the forseeable future. Thank you for donating and loving him like we do!
