We Love JoJo Foote!

Hey there ya'll! My friend Joanne Foote (JoJo as she is affectionately called by all the little kids that she has been a caretaker too) was diagnosed with a bone marrow blood cancer in April. It came as a major shock as she thought that she was just having kidney issues. She had to abruptly shut down her in-home daycare school that she and her husband G-toes ran and begin treatment for the cancer. This shut down not only ended their source of income, but sent five different families from our church scrambling for childcare for their little ones. This affected us all because JoJo ran her little daycare as a school and all the little ones (and the adults) love her like another grandma and most of the kiddos had been with her since infancy. Its hard to describe the trust that all the parents had with her and how she loved on their kiddos. She was also a teacher to the parents to offer tips with their little ones. And could that woman potty train!! JoJo (yes that's what I call her) is a humble woman and I know that having this page is hard for her because she is a giver and not used to receiving. But we love her and don't want to see her worry about finances & medical bills on top of the treatment. God has blessed her husband with a new job, but she is still without income. She is finishing up her third phase of chemo and will be getting a T-cell transplant in August which will require a lengthy stay at Froedtert in Milwaukee. So, we ask that you prayerfully consider donating to this page, pray for healing/strength/peace for Joanne and her family; and please share this page to get the word out. OH, and to make it fun for us all, our pastor, Derek Strening, has agreed to shave his head when we reach $9,000 and when we make it to the $18,000 he will shave his impressive beard. Please understand how big this is as his wife and children have never seen him without a beard (or at least his wife hasn't seen him without one for 15+ years)!
