We Love Karley Oz - Road to Recovery
•Karley Oswald is a 6th grader that loves to play soccer, go to the beach, make TikToks, play mini golf, hang out with her friends, ride her bike and go on her penny board.
•As many of you know, 11 year old Karley went in for a heart procedure at CHOP on Tuesday, September 15th. The operation was a success but unfortunately as a result of the heart operation there were unforeseen complications. She needed to have a cranial procedure and is in the PICU. That operation was successful as well, but she continues to be sedated and recovering as peacefully as she can.
•Karley will remain in CHOP for 3+ months for rehab and recovery featuring PT, OT, speech. She has been sedated since heart surgery but is making progress daily as she had shown ability to begin moving her hands & legs and opening her eyes.
• Please continue to keep Karley in your prayers as the road to recovery will surely be a long uphill climb, but through every step of the way, we will be with her fighting the good fight! Karley has always thrived in challenging situations and we believe she will continue to make progress daily to recover.
• Tim and Denise would like to thank all of their family, friends, co-workers, and the community for the immense amount of support you have shown. Without that, all of this would be even harder as parents. They can’t thank you enough for being there for them...but more importantly, for their daughter.
