We Love Our Children's Museum

The Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada has been a part of the Northern Nevada community for 30 years and. In 30 years, the Museum has built the reputation of being a safe, fun, family-oriented learning center for the whole community. The Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada is a private non-profit which is a play-based learning environment dedicated to offering innovative hands-on learning adventures to explore the arts, sciences, and humanities. Providing the joy and wonder of discover to child and families from economically diverse backgrounds is the cornerstone of the museum. Due to Covid-19 the Children’s Museum, was temporally closed and unable to meet the needs to the community to within the guidelines of keep children and families safe because of the widespread Coronavirus. Despite the worldwide impacts of Covid-19 and the museums temporary closure, the children's museum is dedicated now more than ever to providing a safe place for children to learn and discover the world around them. What makes this museum special is that it is interactive for kids of all ages, and it is a place that family's generation after generation to turn to, to make new discoveries and build new community memories.
