We LOVE Lisa and the Saldana Family

Hello, my name is Layla Chatt from Los Angeles, California and I am writing on behalf of a dear friend, Tatyana Saldana and her family. Her mom, Lisa Saldana, has been fighting breast cancer for over 4 years. I have witnessed this warrior of a woman battle the journey up until today and I feel the need to share this story and do what I can in my power to help.
The cancer has spread throughout her body. She has won the battle thus far but now she is in need of our help.
I’ve met Lisa many years ago when I was 16 years old. She is the mother of my friend Taty. I had the opportunity to be around her before the cancer took over. Lisa is an amazing woman with the kindest, most wonderful soul. She has raised an amazing family with three amazing children, Tatyana (23 years old), Chelsea (17 years old) and Sergito (7 years old).
Lisa was the kind of woman that opened her home to everyone. Being a Dominican family, there was music playing at the house, people dancing, and happiness was always in the air. She was the kind of woman that all of Taty’s friends grew up around because she touched people’s lives. We all came to hang out at Taty’s after school because she cared for all of Taty’s friends and made sure we felt at home. She was always a loving and strong mother to her children and a caring woman to everyone. Her home was a place for the community.
The Saldana family is the kind of family that gives back to others and spreads love. My friends and I want to take the time to show our appreciation for the love they given all of us throughout the years and use this platform to raise awareness and help a family in need.
Unfortunately, this warrior has been told that she is on her last days. In the state of California, you are given 9 days to be on hospice and she has already taken 5 days out of 9. They have taken her out of hospice because her body fat is feeding her nutrients and helping her stay alive. They are waiting until she is in a more severe condition for them to place her back into hospice care. She has made the decision that she would like to come home. Next week is her 49th birthday. Please help my friends and I raise money for Lisa and her amazing family!!!!!!!!!
We would like to spread awareness during this time. Anything you can do to help is incredibly appreciated!! Even if you are unable to donate, please help repost this and spread her story. We truly appreciate all the support we can get.
100% of the proceeds will be given to her and the Saldana family to support their medical bills and any other expenses that may arise during this hard time.
We are praying for her to continue to defeat this battle and to spend her birthday with her three children and all of us.
If you would like to get further involved, email directly at [email redacted]
We thank you for your generosity and kindness. Please keep the Saldana Family in your prayers. Much Love.
Truly,
Layla Chatt, friends, and the Saldana support team
