We Love Tony Barraza

We are fundraising for Tony Barraza. Once you have met him, worked with him and hung out with him, he becomes part of the family. He is your BROTHER! So together with the prayers surrounding him and his family, he will come through this fight.
On Monday, July 14, Tony unexpectedly was taken by ambulance to the ICU where due to issues with his pancreas brought him into kidney failure. As well, he had a UTI and was on a ventilator, These early days were touch and go, and of 7/21/20 Tony had surgery and we are praying the surgery brings him closer to recovery.
Tony has touched so many people. His genuine ability to connect and make people feel good about themselves is his gift to those who meet him. His smile and laugh that is beyond contagious to anyone who hangs out with him!
Tony served in the NAVY.
Tony is an extraordinary Sign language interpreter.
Tony is a phenomenal tri-lingual interpreter.
Tony took his interpreting talents into the DeafBlind community as well as serving as an Support Service Provider for the AADB Board of Directors since 2000.
Tony today still volunteers for the DB community and anyone who needs him.
Tony volunteers his time as Signing Santa which we all know is hilarious!
Tony is loved by his 4 children and a multitude of friends.
We are going to use the money for his medical bills, living expenses and will likely expand over the journey to wellness. As a Sign language interpreter he does not have the luxury of medical leave and will not be paid for his time in the hospital and recovery. Tony has given so much to so many and never asks for anything in return, he is always there when we need him and now we are moved to give back.
Please help us raise fund to help, get and keep him on the road to recovery!
Thank you for your support, Emilia Lorenti Wann & Marilyn Trader
