We love you Sian

To everyone that knows and loves Sian,

You may have already read Sian's most recent Facebook message, sharing the sad news that she has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.

This has come as a massive shock to us all. Sian is the most amazing human, and we all love her to bits.

As friends of hers, I'm sure many of us will be looking at ways we can best support her on the journey ahead.

This is why we have decided to set up a crowd funder, to allow any of us who want to support her on a practical level, the opportunity to give.

We would like to come together to offer financial support to help with the inevitable costs that will arise over the coming months, and to ease any additional pressures so she can fully concentrate on the treatment that she is receiving.

We have decided to do this via whatsapp, as we worry Sian would feel unnecessarily embarrassed at the thought of people collecting money for her.

So please keep this from social media, and from Sian, at present.

However, as her friends we want to demonstrate our love for her in a way that will give her a meaningful safety net over the coming months. Anything given, however small, will be hugely appreciated. This is what mates are for :)
