We Make The Hague

‘We Make The Hague’ is a month-long celebration of creativity in The Hague in September 2024, organized by local communities ‘The Hague Photowalks’ and ‘The Hague Creators’. Throughout the month, there will be an exposition of local photography as well as other local art, various creative workshops, a makers market and plenty more.

Raising funds

We’re raising funds to cover the costs of ‘We Make The Hague’: It is a non-profit event meant to celebrate and support local creatives. Ideally, we hope to cover as much as the costs of the events together through community funding.

Costs

Hosting the events will probably cost €3.190 in total; costs for renting the space for a month, renting equipment for the space, arranging drinks & food for the month and so on. Here’s our rough breakdown on that:

Renting the popup space: €540

Space management/supplies: €300

Furnishing etc: €500

Events foods & drink: €600

Marketing costs: €750

Unforeseen costs: €500

Total: €3.190

As it stands, we’ll be covering the costs between the artists on display (for printing and framing their work), possibly some help from municipality and/or local businesses (none yet at the moment though) and the organizers of the event (Bart-Jan, Francine and Ali as community hosts), basically for everything that’s not covered otherwise.

Any support in covering these costs is be greatly appreciated! You will help to make ‘We Make The Hague’ possible for the creative community and the city of The Hague.
