We need your Support building: A New Stage, for a New Era

A New Stage for a New Era;

As some of you may know, my life in Costa Rica has been nothing less than a journey.
This dream of creating a container for self-expression was embedded into my soul by my father Antoine at an early age.

He took me to different countries looking at land to create a community through Music, Art & Education. He went to Venezuela as a young man to discover nature, where I was born. Then to Tahiti to build the Museum of Science in Bora Bora. Then to LA to learn technology (which led to the integration of CNC technology into film production). This is when I permanently moved to the States and started my journey in the film business working in the Art Department.

I stayed in LA for nearly 30 years. My father moved on from the Hollywood grind in search of this dream where technology and nature would merge, bringing communities together and celebrating life through artistic expression.

During the pandemic, our paths would cross again in Costa Rica. He needed to get out of Mallorca and we (Liz, Kayd & I) were looking for a way to get this project (The Garden) off the ground. The unexpected merger turned into what we know today as The Sacred Garden.

Liz, Kayd, my father, and I teamed up to rebuild the house, get an industrial kitchen going, and erect a small stage that filled the land with beautiful people and blissful experiences. For the last 3 years, Antoine started producing multiple special events bringing musicians and artists from the region and beyond. This led to the creation of Bliss Burn after his passing. (Blissburn.org to find more info.)

For those who don't know, Antoine died in a tragic accident where he and I were ejected out of a rolling vehicle. By God's sake, Daisy and I survived. She left a few days later and I have remained at The Garden pretty much since the accident. The loss sent ripples of pain across the planet. It was a sudden shift in many people's lives, leaving many communities astray.

What we didn’t consider was that our stage was built a bit too close to the river, which means… we need to rebuild. This demand carries a lot of emotion behind it since it is the stage my father built which is going. Hence, a New Stage for a New Era. This stage has brought so many artists from the local community, along with musicians from around the world, to embody what it feels like to live in heaven on earth.

We have a plan, the design is in the works, and the crew is ready to start takedown. However, we need your help recreating the Next Stage for The Sacred Garden.

We need around $8,000 to make this happen. We will raise funds internally and with some borrowed equipment, we can get away with 6k to do the rebuild and the tech. From there, we can add layers of deco with locally sourced materials. This provides our New Stage with full electrical distribution throughout the floor, ceiling, and posts. Making it seamlessly easy to set up and break down. We need a new Sound booth. Built-in rack for amps, subs, and heads. New lighting system. This is the only equipment we don't have support with and it is costly. This will pay for revamping the entire surrounding area. New grass, daybeds, deco, etc...

For volunteer assistance, we need:
- Muscle
- Welders
- Carpenters
- Painters
- Electricians
- Sound technicians/engineers
- Lighting technicians/engineers
- Assistance with making crew meals
25hrs of actual work will get you a free entry to BB2025

This is an invitation to be a part of a new era for events at The Garden.
- $12+ counts for a day event entry.
- $160+ donation gets you a ticket to Bliss Burn.
- $500+ donation gets you a week at The Garden (except during Bliss Burn) or 4 tickets to BB2025.
- $1,000+ A booking of The Garden for your event, with the new stage, as long as dates don’t interfere with booked events.

Our goal is to have it complete with deco and tech by the next event, December 21st of this year.
