We need your support to help Cherie!

Cherie was rescued from unimaginable neglect and abuse and taken in as a rescue on November 2nd, 2023. Her ears were cut, her fur was dull and dry, her body had rub marks from being in a confined space, and she was crawling with parasites. To top it all off, no one wanted to adopt her because of her cherry eyes (prolapsed third eyelids). When her rescuer first got her, this little malnourished and abused puppy was terrified of people, letting out little growls as she tried to scare people away so she wouldn't be hurt anymore.
After she was rescued, she ate and slept for the first two days. She was so exhausted and malnourished that she needed all the energy she had to get back to being healthy again. With a freshly cracked egg added to her food every day (to help her get the protein she needed), she started to gain weight. Her fur began to get soft and shiny, and slowly but surely, she began to love and trust people again. Her care did not end there; she underwent surgery for her cherry eyes, was spayed, received heartworm care, underwent intestinal deworming, got vaccines, and received everything else she needed, totaling about $7,000. Unfortunately, in one of her eye's cherry eyes returned, and she needs an additional surgery to remove it.
Her foster and her rescuer have poured out a whole lot of love, time, money, effort, and care to help nurse Cherie into the amazing pup she is today. Cherie is in love with life again, happy, healthy, and full of energy.
Let's contribute to express gratitude to those who aided this dog's recovery and raise additional funds to support upcoming surgeries for her eyes. Your contribution will immensely help those who supported Cherie and contribute to securing a brighter future for her.
Thank you in advance!!
