Tokens for Tinley

On November 19th, Tinley developed a respiratory illness and later came down with an ear infection and was given antibiotics. During the next two weeks, Tinley fought hard to fight it off, but on Friday, November 29th, Tinley became unresponsive. She was taken to Children's Mercy that evening and was unresponsive for the next 29 hours. They diagnosed Tinley with meningitis and encephalitis from Mycoplasma pneumoniae (community spread pneumonia). Tinley is making a great comeback and is currently in rehab at Childrens Mercy in Kansas City.

Tinley is an 8th grader at Holton Middle School in Holton, Kansas.
